Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1.Overview

Vega is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your data stays on your machine. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.

The data fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy is Ueralabs, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Sourav Singh Solanki, Delhi, India. For any privacy matter, write to contact@ueralabs.com (see also §13, Grievance Officer).

2.Data Storage

Vega stores sensitive runtime data locally inside its application data directory, and keeps your visible workspace content in a separate local workspace folder. Modules, processed files, exports, logs, secrets, and configurations remain on your machine unless you explicitly configure an external integration.

3.Information We Collect

When you register for a license on our website, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address (for license delivery)
  • Operating system (to give you the right build)
  • Primary use case (optional)
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Your consent choices — including whether you asked to be notified when your build is ready, and whether you opted in to product-update emails

When you write to us through the contact form, we collect your name, email, company (optional), the topic of your enquiry, and your message — used only to respond to you.

We record the date, the version of this policy, and the consent options you selected, so we can demonstrate that your consent was freely and specifically given.

4.License Validation

When activating or validating a license key, the following data is sent to the Ueralabs license server (ueralabs.com):

  • License key
  • Application version
  • A salted one-way hashed device identifier — it cannot be reversed to identify your computer
  • Machine name (so you can see your own active devices)

This data is used solely for license verification and is not shared with third parties. We do not collect personal files, browsing history, or any data you create within the application.

5.Update Checks

When you click "Check for Updates," a request is sent to ueralabs.com containing only your current software version. No personal data or usage information is included.

6.Third-Party Services

When you configure external AI providers (for example OpenRouter or OpenAI) through your own API keys, data is sent to those services according to their respective privacy policies. Ueralabs does not intermediate or store this data. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy policies of external services you choose to integrate.

If and when paid plans launch, payments will be processed by Razorpay, who will handle your payment details under their own privacy policy.

7.Analytics, Cookies & Server Logs

The Vega application collects no usage analytics, telemetry, or crash reports. It operates fully offline except for license validation, update checks, and any integrations you configure yourself.

Our website sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party analytics. As with any website, our host (Hostinger) keeps standard server access logs — including IP address and approximate location — to operate and secure the site; these are retained only short-term (about 7 days).

8.Secrets

API keys, passwords, connection strings, JSON credentials, and other secrets you store in the application's Settings are encrypted and stored locally. They are never transmitted to Ueralabs servers. These secrets are only used by the modules you configure to use them.

9.Data Security

The registration details you submit on our website (such as your name and email) are stored on our host's servers with industry-standard protections. Your in-application data stays on your own machine (see "Data Storage"). We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except as required by law.

10.Your Rights & Data Control

Because your in-application data is stored locally, you have complete control. You can:

  • Export your modules as .zip files
  • Create backups from Settings
  • Delete the workspace folder to remove user-created content
  • Delete the application data directory to remove local runtime state

For the registration details we hold on our website, you may at any time:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct it
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Withdraw your consent, or opt out of product-update emails (one click in any such email)
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity

To exercise any of these, email contact@ueralabs.com; we act on verified requests within 30 days. Uninstalling the application removes program files but intentionally leaves your workspace content untouched.

11.Where Your Data Is Stored & Cross-Border Transfers

The personal data you submit on our website is hosted by Hostinger on servers located in India, with off-site backups stored in Singapore. By using the website you consent to this storage and the backup transfer. Your in-application data is never transferred anywhere — it stays on your machine.

12.How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Registration details: kept while your license is active; deleted 12 months after issuance if the license is never activated.
  • Contact-form messages: kept for 24 months, then deleted.
  • Server access logs (including IP address): retained short-term, about 7 days.
  • Marketing list: kept until you unsubscribe (one click).

On a verified deletion request, we action it within 30 days.

13.Grievance Officer

In line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may direct any privacy concern, data request, or complaint to our Grievance Officer, Sourav Solanki, at contact@ueralabs.com. We acknowledge within 72 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days.

14.Contact

For privacy-related inquiries, email us at contact@ueralabs.com or visit our contact page.

This policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
